Hi Steve,
I had an oppurtunity to use your tool this weekend. I
used it on some steps that were left in a tree for a couple
years and the bark was starting to grow around the step. All
I can say is wow - once the notch gets a bit on the step
it's all over. That extra leverage makes all the differance
- that step is coming out - tree bark and all.

Thought I'd let you know...I
put this on my Christmas ideas list and my wife
bought one for me. (She bought it off of your
website, since she doesn't use ebay). I used it this
weekend to remove some tree steps (taking out my
stands 'til next year). It worked perfectly! What a
huge improvement over the Ameristep. Thanks for
developing this product and responding to my earlier
email. Good luck with it.
I just wanted to take a second and let you know
how happy I have been with this tool. I ordered one
a couple months back and started using it recently
while preparing my stands for the upcoming bow
season. It certainly makes the chore of putting in
steps a lot easier and faster! Because of the
weight, I don't mind carrying it and the greatest
compliment I can pay is that now I don't mind moving
a step if wasn't placed exactly right the first
time. The only improvement I could suggest might be
a handle that would spin freely. Perhaps a plastic
tube over the metal handle that wouldn't require the
handle to turn in your hand. Just a small detail.
This is a great product and I'm happy to have it.
